What you DO:

  • Achieve sales goals. You motivate your sales team to consistently hit and surpass quota, while living and breathing our company vision and values. You develop and deliver strategic plans that hit margin, keep sales expenses in check, and meet profit goals. Your go-to-market strategy is heavily focused on winning net-new business.
  • Developing a high-performing sales team. You are the catalyst to your team's success. You're an expert coach in all areas of our sales cycle: phone prospecting, field work, networking, needs assessments, proposals, closing, and more. You're equally adept at coaching in the office and in the field (and hopefully LOVE being in the field selling with your reps!). Your sales trainings and one-on-one sales reviews excite your sales reps to be successful. You develop a strong rapport and cooperate with all departments within the company, and expect the same of your team members.
  • Retain and grow top performers. You're a mentor that sets the bar for personal character, commitment, and work ethic. Turnover is frustrating for everyone, so you give your team the resources they need to be successful. You naturally recognize and reward success, and provide valuable, respectful feedback when coaching for improvement. Since everyone wants challenging and meaningful work, you look for opportunities of continued growth for your tenured team members (i.e. certifications, on-going education, advancement within the company, etc.).

Who you ARE:

  • You absolutely must have a strong track record of sales leadership and high business acumen. Your sales teams have achieved/exceeded quota for at least two years.
  • Additionally, to prove that you can back it up, you should have at least five years' experience in a B2B sales role that specializes in consultative selling.
  • We're proud of our positive and supportive culture. It's important that your attitude and actions are a good fit for us. Yes, we absolutely need sales leaders who are passionate about winning. But we won't take shortcuts to success. And we expect our leaders to get everyone over the finish line, so everyone can share in the victory.
  • Because you'll be working with the C-Suite and teaching your team to do the same, our RSMs have traditionally had at least a Bachelor's degree.
  • We're a tech company, so your proficiency with IT, software, and hardware must be on point. Since technology is always changing, lifelong learners that stay up on the newest tech do well in this role. Prior knowledge of Xerox, Konica Minolta, Canon, Sharp, Ricoh, or HP will give you an extra leg up. And of course, you're a wiz with a sales CRM, like Compass Sherpa or Salesforce.
